Welcome to my private website. I am head of the research group HMI at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Institute of Transportation Systems in Braunschweig and Berlin. Additionally, I am adjunct senior lecturer at the German Police University, Unit Transportation Science and Traffic Psychology in Münster. My research interests focus on rethinking human-machine interaction (HMI) and its interface design within transportation systems for a safe, comfortable, and sustainable future mobility.
